This policy explains the terms and conditions for cancellation, refund, and the right of withdrawal for the Cast İstanbul digital membership service. Membership is a digital service that does not include physical products and is performed instantly in an electronic environment.
1. Right of Withdrawal and Legal Exception
In accordance with Article 15/1-(ğ) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services performed instantly in an electronic environment and commenced with the Consumer's consent.
Upon payment of the membership fee and activation of the account, the service is deemed to have commenced immediately. Since the Member explicitly approved this situation during the payment step, the 14-day right of withdrawal expires after activation and the paid amount is generally not refunded.
2. Cancellation Before Activation
If payment has been received but the membership has not yet been activated due to a technical reason, the order will be canceled upon request, and the full amount paid will be refunded using the same payment method.
3. Exceptional Cases for Refund
In the following cases, a partial or full refund may be made after review:
- Duplicate (double) payment,
- A technical fault originating from the Seller that cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and completely prevents access to the service,
- The Member's account being closed by the Seller before the service is provided.
4. Subscription Cancellation (Non-renewal)
For fixed-term (e.g., annual) memberships, the Member can always request that the subscription not be renewed at the end of the term. Cancellation stops future renewals; the service can continue to be used until the end of the current paid period. No refunds are made for past periods.
5. Refund Request and Process
Refund requests, along with payment confirmation/order information, should be sent to [email protected] or through the communication channels below. Requests are evaluated within a maximum of 14 days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (within Turkey: PayTR / international: 2Checkout-Verifone); the reflection period on the bank/card may vary depending on the payment institution.
